Plants and water

Plants absorb nutrients in the form of nutritional elements. Plants can only absorb nutrients dissolved in water.

Water is an essential transport vehicle and plays a key role in promoting photosynthesis and plant nutrient uptake. Without water, plants will not grow.

Water is an essential mineral needed by plants. It plays a key role in the evaporation and transpiration process: it can reduce leaf surface temperature, strengthen stems and leaves, and help absorb and transport nutrients and minerals.
